when i click download version 1.9.2 for mac the process begins but then the download screen says "Verification Failed" and when i check my serato screen, i am still on version 1.8.2

Which web browser are you using? Do you have an Internet Firewall in place?

Mac OS X 10.5.8....... Safari 4.0.2. No firewall. The download begins but does not complete.

If you run Safari, open Preferences then to the General tab do you have the "Open "safe" files after downloading" option checked?

Do you have the same problem when downloading .dmg files from other sites?

I do have the open safe files after downloading option checked and i have never had an issue downloading any other files.

Try unchecking that option just for this download, can you download the file now?

I did uncheck that option and tried again. A small screen is visible that says WARNING at the top under which it says The Following Disk Images Failed To Mount, below that it says ScratchLive_1-13.92_(19222)_Mac.dmg and next to that it says reason codecc overrun

Hmm that doesn't sound good at all. There may be more of a problem with your computer :(

strange, i have never had download issues or any issues with computer in the past. I now am realizing the desktop link to serate was for 1.8.2 but i had 1.90 saved under applications. Tried to download again and still same message.

I'm afraid I'm not sure what else you can try sorry. You may need to post on the Apple forums or give Apple a call and see what advice they can give you. Please let me know what you find out.
