I heard there may be problems with i5 pro chips and serato? is there and can it be fixed? also does it matter what video/graphics card you have buying a new laptop and its cheaper with just a standard graphics card wondering if that really makes any difference ? don’t know a lot about this stuff. also would you recommend a sony laptop or dell ? thanks

Hi djneedhelp,

There have been some issues with the Scratch Live hardware drivers and the i3/i5/i7 chipsets, but these are usually resolved with a BIOS update from the laptop manufacturer. I strongly recommend that you try before you buy.

The graphics card won't matter unless you plan on using Video-SL, in which case you should invest in a good one ;)
