i have my music library on my external hard drive, and every time i dis connect it, it loses the bpms, the settings, and the music libaray itself, i have to analyze all 8000 songs again? or is there a simpler way of doing this

Hi DJMaffei,

What format is your external hard drive in?

Can you please check if you have read & write permissions for your external hd, your music folder, your ScratchLIVE folder and your tracks (check 5- 10 tracks)?

To check your permissions:
1) Right click the track, folder, hd
2) 'Get info'.
3) Everything in each category should be 'Read and Write'. If not do the following:
4) In 'Sharing & Permissions' --> 'Details' unlock the tiny lock.
5) Set permissions to 'Read and Write'
