You can record into the box itself.
You can plug a microphone into the box directly, you may need to do a couple of test runs to make sure you are getting a good loud signal with no redlining (clipping).
1. Click on the downward arrow (icon) to get the drop menu displaying the three possible record sources.
2. Select the desired source and press the record icon to start recording.
3. The record icon flashes while recording and the display shows the elapsed recording time.
4. Press the record icon again to stop the recording.
5. To save the recording, type in a name for the recording and click the save icon.
6. The recording is automatically placed in a crate named “RECORDED”. If the crate does not already exist, it will be created automatically.
Then you can just drag these into any crate you want, or move them on your hard drive and create a new Folder on your computer then keep them in a special crate and drag them to the decks like a normal track (or to the SP-6).
