how do i make crates out of my itunes playlist so incase my itunes software crashes i can still have my crates

Hi DELMA,

To do this you'll need to:

1) Click on the playlist you wish to make into a crate.
2) Click in the library and press Ctrl + A to highlight all the files in this playlist.
3) Drag and Drop these files onto the "Make New Crate" button.
4) Scratch Live will now make a new crate containing these files. You can rename it to whatever you like :)

hi i was trying to do the crates but i dont see the make new crate button where would i find it

ok i got found the make crate button but how do i rename my crate

Uncheck the protect library box in the Setup menu

Double click on a crate to rename it, and as Dj Knockout 101 said make sure that the "protect library" option is unchecked.
