I've DL the beta and the newest version on my laptop(hp dv4 with vista64) and it seems to DL well but wen i use the ns7 it still says hardware disconneted and my usb light indicator doesn't come on.. Now my question is where is my problem? is it the unit or is it the program?

Hello this means the driver did not install, do you know if your os is 32 or 64 bit?
dj taino 5:02 AM 9 March 2010
its 64 bit.
dj taino 4:14 PM 19 March 2010
its a vista 64 bit on a amd turion processor for a hp laptop..

We are aware unfortunately the AMD series processors exhibit poor performance.
I would recommend ensuring you have the latest drivers, bios and USB chipset for your system you can check this at your PC manufactures website.

soo i upgraded to a intel duo core t6600 with a 2.20 ghz windows 7 64 bit and the problem still sees to exsist. after 15 min of playing the stuttering of the right platter.. then the fader not fading to switch sides. also when i load a song it freezes the whole unit and i have to power off and reboot to try to play again..This is really frustrating because ive had this unit all this time and havent been able to use it for any of my gigs.

Hello,
Can you verify what version you are using now?
I assume you have done the usual tweaks for a new laptop of updating your OS, Drivers and Bios. Some times new machines come woefully out of date driver wise.

are you refering to the laptop or the ns7?
sbangs 9:48 PM 13 February 2011
The laptop.

I do not think you would need to this is an issue in my mind with your USB performance.
