i just started recording my sets with my sl3, when i playback the saved recorded file the song will come up with blue spots scattered over the wave form when the track gets to the blue spots the recordings are distorted and play a digital noise over the recorded track, this problem just started out of nowhere.

Upgrade to the latest version 1.9.2 and see if this solves your issues - I believe 1.9.1 had issues recording with the SL3.

Can you record something (small clip) and upload it here?

How full is your internal hard drive? Do you have tons or recordings? Have you tried changing your RCA cord you are using to record with? Which output of your mixer are you using?

i'm sorry for not responding sooner,

i was able to fix the problem, and another problem i had "tracks loading too slow?skipping" by changing the prefereneces for power on my computer,

since my laptop stays plugged in i automatically assumed it would perform to its maximum capacity but for some reason even though it was plugged in it was still in "power saver" mode,
