Kann man den Vestax VFX-1 als Effektcontroller für SSL nutzen ?
Wenn ja, wie bekommt man die Tasten zum leuchten, zwecks visuellem Feedbacks ?

ja funktioniert! du kannst dir auch eine Folie mit einem für SSL passenden Skin ausdrucken

Die Rede war vom Vestax VFX-1 nicht vom NI X1 ! Aber der Thread sagt ja schon alles. Solange SSL 2.0 kein MIDI Out kann, läuft es nicht.

no disrespect to konix however i do run it wit the LEDs on and very bright... i used the ssl.xml in the control editor mapped the effects knobs and everything my self just by hitting midi and turning the knob or hitting the button u want to midi map... just like u would map a nano control or aki mpd or mpk.. i have have them allTo get the LEDs to work u have to install traktor le which comes on the kontol x1 disc... go into the preferences and turn the LEDs up then closte traktor the LEDs will be on then switch back to serato and they remain on... this is for mac i can't resond to pc setup.

ah umnochmal auf den VFX-1 zurückzu kommen:
so on the NAMM Vestax showed a new VMC-05 with a horizontal VFX-1
is the VFX-1 able to be a controler for the build-in effects in the new SSL 2.o ?

as far as I am aware, no.
Of course you can use any MIDI controller to control the new FX!

Hab es letze Woche mal ausprobiert. Funktioniert nur bedingt. Größtes Manko wie ich finde ist, dass der Umschalter für die Effekte nicht genutzt werden kann. Da man in SL2 hierfür einen 'echten' Potie benötigt.
Oder hat's doch jemand hinbekommen...?

probier mal od du die Parameter des Effektpotis durch drücken con "C" bei der midi-belegung so verändern kannst das es klappt!
