finding out bpm for songs

is there a product that can tell you the beats per min in a song if you dont know it ,and that can save you time sense we as djs have so many tracks,or can scan and put it in.

Mixed in Key will scan your songs for key and bpm and add them to the songs tag. It's not perfect, but djtechtools.com did a comparison test of Mixed in Key with other key/bpm detecting software and it had the highest marks. The program runs about $50 US dollars, but IMO worth it.

analyze your files in serato and it will detect your bpm..

You can do that by Analyzing the files in Scratch Live. Disconnect your hardware and above the crate section you will see the Analyze files tab.

First you need to put a check mark in the "set auto bpm" box. You also need to select a range. You want your music to fall between the range you have selected. If you have "none" selected it might not get all of the songs

Once those two things are done go ahead and click the analyze files tab.
