You dont have to reanalyze anything. All stripes/overwiews are stored within your mp3s (unless they are write protected).

The only time I have seen this happen was when I puposely deleted/moved or renamed the Scratch LIVE folder located in My Music folder.
Did you move, delete, or remane your Scratch LIVE folder?

Uh... I deleted the folder called 'Scratch LIVE' that was in 'My Music'. It was empty, so I didn't see a need for it... but I haven't had any problems (so far).

DBB You might have deleted an empty folder, but all of SSL's database files, crate .slc files, song database.sdb pakage, and ect. are stored within the Scratch LIVE folder.

i dont think so but i might have by mistake. if it happens again then it must be a bug, or something with ssl. until it does no worries i have loaded everything in no prob.

I figured out what I did. I remember that I renamed the 'my music' folder to 'aural'. Scratch Live created another folder called 'my music' and put an empty subfolder in that... I just deleted the 'my music' folder that was created. The real Scratch Live folder (with all the settings) is in my 'aural' folder.
What a dork I am... lol.

synstr - did you do any drive maintenance? maybe a folder got moved while defragging or something? whenever i defragged my old computer running win98, something would always happen to one of my apps afterwards.
i haven't defragged my new computer for about a year now...i'm afraid something is gonna screw up a prog again. and so far, so good...*knock on wood* and this is on xp.
and to stray off topic......i finally got my laptop in! and ssl!! now i just gotta get things ready and install it...
