When I use my mouse to click on "Browse" in Serato Itch 1.1, you see the three-column listing of Artsts, Genre, Albums. If I use the NS7's file navigation button (turning it left or right), it crashes Serato Itch 100% of the time. Any attempt at using the knob browser while in the "Browse" mode will crash Itch.
Thought you'd want to know...
thanks,
Bryan

Hi Bryan.
What are your computer specs? (Make, model, CPU, RAM, hard drive. Also list any USB devices you use too).

I am using a Dell m1330 with a Core 2 Duo processor. I'm running Win 7 32-bit with 4gig RAM. I think I have a 7200rpm drive, but possibly just 5400. I think when this error occurred I had an external 1tb drive connected via USB 2.0. The N27 is in the other USB port.
More recently, I've been using an 4-pin firewire connection to plug in my external HD, a USB port for the NS7 and a small USB hub to plug in a mouse and keyboard on the remaining USB port. I don't think I was using this setup when I encountered the bug, and I haven't tested the bug again using this setup.
Hope that helps,

Hmm. I just looked at my original post. I refer to using my mouse. I must have had it set up so my HD was running off the 4-pin Firewire port, the NS7 off one of the USB 2.0 ports, and my mouse on the second USB port. I only added the hub later when I wanted to plug in both a mouse and keyboard....

Computers use an internal hub, sometimes these aren't the best, and when you do something with one USB device, the other is affected. Using a good quality hub for your mouse etc. may be a good way to get around this, if you aren't able to reproduce this glitch then I'd say you're safe :D

So this isn't a recognized bug? I'll see if I can recreate the bug with a slimmed down setup (sans mouse, etc.)...

No. If the USB hub is being pushed too far through hardware overload, then it won't be a bug.
If you can re-create without anything other than the NS7 and all the basic tweaks done, we may have to look further, but this sounds like data being lost somewhere.
Make sure you are doing all of these:

www.serato.com (Vista, but similar to W7)
Cheers.
