I've been testing your Pitch N Time Pro demo version for a couple of days. I actually love it, but once I used it in my session a couple of times it becomes useless. It doesn't distort the sound at all and once I hit process it only creates a POP and a couple of seconds of silence.
The problem goes away once I close ProTools and reopen everything, but it reappears after a couple of 'processing'.
I would like to know if this problem will disappear once I buy the final version, or is it a problem that has been experienced by others also (and will be fixed in the next update hopefully)?

I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Csaba,

Pitch 'n Time Pro shouldn't behave like that, it may be that you're running Snow Leopard as it's not yet compatible. Which version of Pro Tools are you using?

I'm using the latest PT 8 LE (which is finally compatible with Snow Leopard). 8.0.3 I think.
So I guess it could be because of the incompatibility with the SL. Is there gonna be an update in the next weeks?

Thanks for the answer.

Hey Csaba,

Yes it's possible it's related to Snow Leopard, I've seen a couple of reports of this issue and those users were also running Snow Leopard. We'll need to see if we can reproduce this issue to address it, I'm afraid I can't give you a due date for a fix sorry.

This sound quite like a bug we've found when using Vocal mode.
Vocal mode was designed to be used in a limited range (50%-200%), and in a simple mode Pitch 'n Time forces you into that range. However if you set up a pitch shift of 800% at one point in Variable Pitch mode, and change to vocal mode, the plug-in starts outputting silence in all modes.
We're working on alleviating that problem. The current workaround is to never perform extreme time stretching or pitch shifting in vocal mode.
