I am working on a mix for a CD and everything was recording fine at first. I was able to record mixes and then play them back. Now when I try to record, everything sounds fine, until I go to play back the recorded file and it's nothing but static and clipping. I tried lowering the buffer from 1 to 5 but it did nothing. I have a Macbook Pro 3.06 Ghz with 8GB of RAM so I don't think it's the computer.

Hi DJTrump,
There was a bug in ITCH that would affect recordings, which has been fixed in ITCH 1.5. This is currently in public beta, you can get it here -> www.serato.com (click link). Can you please try it out and let me know whether you still have this problem? Thanks :)

DJ Trump, what program are you using to insert your tracks on your CD with your Mac?

I put the full mixes on a CD using Itunes, then a friend of mine has a CD burner that can cut the mix down into tracks with no skip or jumps.

Yes it is pretty much the same as far as the recording features, and with the new version of itch you have options as far as bit depth and file format when recording.

No problem. It's definitely a hot program, just make sure your computer is up to speed or there'll be problems. I just recently purchased the MB Pro and everything runs perfectly now.

Lmao, sounds like a plan. I'd definitely recommend the Macbook Pro just because I haven't had a single problem with it. I also have a Dell XPS laptop which I used for Itch previously and I had issues with it.

Hey DJTrump,
Did ITCH 1.5 solve your recording glitch problems?

For the mix CD I actually used the older version of ITCH on my other laptop and it worked fine, but I have made some smaller recordings with the new ITCH and haven't had any problems thus far. Thanks for your help. My new problem is with the microphone/aux cutting out when the crossfader is all the way to the right but I have started a new help request for that problem.
