Hi,
After months of longing, I just purchased SSL. I am wondering what version is currently shipping. More importantly, are the control vinyls 2nd gen or 1st gen?

mine says 11-04 below RANE SERATO SL on the back -
purchased at veryvery nice store in NY.
i miss USA.

does CV02 on the vinyl mean 2nd generation?

SSL currently ships with software version 1219. Look at the bottom right corner of the setup screen to check.

but mine has CV02 and old sowftware. how come? is the new box better?

the only new item is CV02, errthing else is the same. the software (1219) is available on this forum in the downloads portion. and the Box Hardware is the same and will not change because it was built correctly in the first place. phil you are all good.

But you have installed the latest build, phil? The previous builds won't work with CV02, you know.
