I upgraded to ProTools 8, and had to upgrade Pitch'n'Time from 2.2 to the 2.5 version.
Consequently, the process button is no longer at the bottom of Pitch'n'Time.
And , no, it's not because my screen resolution is low. I can see the bottom of the Pitch'n'Time page, and the process button isn't there.
Thanks for your help. - -- Doug

So here we are 4 days later, and I still haven't received help.

Any glimmer of hope headed my way?!

Hi Doug,

That part of the GUI is not drawn by PnT, it is actually drawn and processed by Avid/ Digidesign (it has to be in order for any Plug In developer to comply to the Avid/ Digidesign plug-in development guidelines)

We have had similar reports but in all cases it was related to screen res, which as you state is not the case with your issue...

We have a developer taking a look at it and should have some further news for you shortly.

Cheers

Hi,

Can you please tell me, after a fresh pro tools start up, before moving the Pitch 'n Time window around, where exactly does the plug-in window sit? Is it fully visible or is any part of it off the screen?
Can you also tell me what your screen resolution is? Although it seems from the screen shot like there's enough room, we need to see if there's anything peculiar about it. Also what kind of a mac are you on?

Cheers

Hi Goran -
To answer all your questions - the plugin window opens far left side of the screen, fully visible.
My screen rez is 1280x960.
I'm on a mac dual 2.7 GHz PowerPC G5.

I tell you all that to tell you that with the current "try" of PitchnTime, it worked! I processed a file, and it all seems to work. Not sure why, but I quit questioning computers long ago. If you guys want to continue to research this, I'll be glad to do whatever to help with the process.

Thanks Doug

if it should happen again can you make a note of what you were doing immediately prior to it all going a bit wonky and let us know? In the meantime I will close this one off...

cheers!
