I recently upgraded to snow leopard and serato 1.9.2. Now there is a popping sound in the background when i play certain songs. So far it has only happened to 2 songs, but they are songs that i have played many times in the past and have never had the problem before. The songs do not "pop" when i play them in iTunes or serato when the SL3 is not plugged in. Any ideas?
Let me know if you need more information.

Thanks.

Do you see a USB light on the screen when these pops happen?

Can you reproduce it everytime with these 2 files?

I am getting the same problem also. Songs that I've played before never had the popping sound in there but now it has a popping sound to it.

The two above files are described like this. The 75 Street Brazil song without the popping was made in a mix on 9/29/09. The other one with the popping sound, was made 12/08/09.

I imported and built the overviews on those two files. The lady gaga track shows as being a corrupt file. Do you show the same thing in your library?

Is there a certain point (time) that the files "skip"? I listened to the files and neither of them skipped on me. I kept my eye on the waveform and it remained solid the whole song as did the audio.

Are you searching your library when you get these skips?

I recently DJ'd a wedding reception and got pops in my sound all night long. I'm not sure if it was coming from the buildings electrical system, or if my Scratch Live had developed a new problem? I have 1.9.2 and was using my PC with Vista that evening.
