Serato puts in a lot of time and effort into their software and hardware. Why would they just let someone use their program (for free) and use a competitors hardware? This literally is the most rediculous question ever.

Not so ridiculous. Would Serato be able to output to other devices so long as one of the Rane hardware devices were also plugged in?
