I've got a Dell Inspiron 1420 running Windows 7, and i've just noticed that some of the dedicated buttons for volume up/down and mute, as well as the transport buttons for media player, seem to be linked to random hot keys in scratch live.

Volume down links to "C" (Sample #3 Trigger)
Volume up links to "X" (Sample #2 Trigger)
Previous Track links to "Q" (Reverse)

Not a huge problem, just thought it was interesting.

Hey DJ B-Stee,

That's odd. Have they always done that or is only since you've upgraded to Windows 7?

Don't know... hadn't noticed it till now and I've been on 7 since beta so I can't really remember if it did it on vista or xp

Ok. Unfortunately we don't have a Dell Inspiron 1420 here, so the only suggestion I can give to avoid using these buttons when using Scratch Live. Sorry!

No problem...like I said its not seroius issue to me...just thought it was interesting. Maybe if its something that gets figured out in the future the quickset buttons will be able to be configured hhowever we want.
