One Side of Serato Not Working... strange problem

Last night I was Djing at a club and the right turntable (of the Serato) was not functioning. The left side was working normally both for the Serato and regular vinyl (phono). The right side was working fine for regular vinyl as well, it just wasn't reading the serato vinyl.

When I put the needle on the serato record, in fact, the cursor on the playlist scrolled all the way to the top as the record was spinning. This happened every time I put a needle on the record. The waveform was not showing up either, but the time for the song was counting down normally. I couldn't get it to work after trying numerous things including: switching RCAs, doing the setup calibration numerous times, and changing needles multiple times. I went home and set up the serato on my own setup and it worked fine!

Not sure what the problem was... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

IF you are getting vinyl scroll at the start of the record it means your Left and Right channels are reversed.

ok... Thanks, I'll try that.

This sounds like it might be an internal problem with the turntable you were using. Often times there is a short in the rca that can cause this problem.
