Hey everybody, for some reason (maybe a corrupt MP3?) when I go to build overviews it freezes and my CPU usage spikes to 100% before it even starts to analyze. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm DJing in NY next week and need to get this straightened out asap.

Forgot to mention, I did everything that Sam recommended and still no luck. When I went to check the OverviewBuilder.log it was blank.
So, I went and removed all the corrupted MP3s and it's still crashing. I put a lot of new files in that still need overviews built, so if someone has any ideas, I'd really appreaciate it.

Right. That's what I figured too, but all the one's that came up corrupt I deleted and it's still freezing. I'm starting to get a likkle concerned after trying everything I can think of. I'm still using the last beta that came out before the official version. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Is there any way to isolate the bad MP3 if it doesn't show up with the corrupted icon in Serato and it's not in the Builder log?

What version of Scratch Live are you using?

To verify go to the setup screen and look in the bottom right hand corner.

Thanks for getting back to me. I installed the latest version and after running it overnight and into this morning(!), I think I pinpointed the bad MP3. I haven't set it up and tested it yet, but it built all the overviews with no problem. I'll let you know if anything else happens.
