The past 2 weekends I've played at a club and have ran into this problem.
At the beginning of the night when everything is setup, my signal is perfectly clear, as the night progresses mabey after like 2 hours the signals get worse and worse...
when I take the needle of the vinyl the song still runs very slowly and muffled, when I put the needle back on it runs find but the signal is still showing thats its really bad...it gets to a point in which when the needle is on the vinyl it starts to sound distorded and signal is horrible...
I checked the grounding it was fine...I got the club to replace turntables also..it only happens on one side...my serato works fine when I use it at home...

Well, when you setup up and calibrate in the beginning of the night did you do it the volume you expect to play at or with all the speakers and stuff turned off?
When tracks keep on playing after you lift the needle up is a classic sign that the threashold estimate is too high, which happens probably because you calibrated without the speakers playing at the volume you played at when the club is open, which over estimates it. Lower the threashold and you should be good.

Humm, I would say check the needles then. Which ones are you using? Does swapping needles help?

It was probably that then, because when I was hitting the estimate button it was when all the speakers were turned off...
Im using Ortofon Scratch's...but I swapped the needles and I have still having the same problem..

Also make sure you clean your needles regulary, incl. the vinyls itself.

^^^ yes, an amazing amount of dust and grime can be produced when using the same control records for hours continuously. get a needle brush and bring it with you when you play.
