I had a folder with some slow jams, and the filenames were all messed up "Incorrect spelling, Etc" so i fixed them up , i ran them through tagscanner and i went to build overviews and serato just froze up, and it was freezing on the files i just changed.
this happened using 1.5 i also have 1.6 beta and it does the same thing.

okay...i rescanned ID3tags and serato froze up doing that too. and all the songs that it froze on were the ones that i just changed the filename on. so, i removed my slo jam folder "which is the folder i just changed all the filenames" and rescanned my ID3 tags and serato did not freeze. now, there was about 200 songs in this folder that i changed the filename of, and everytime serato froze up it was one of these files, can all these files be corupted?

Could be, try adding track by track instead of the complete folder at once.

*update* i deleted my whole slo jam folder from my Laptop, and i took the slo jam folder from my back-up and put it back on my laptop and gave it another shot... i renamed all the files like i said before, then built overviews with no problems this time, i think last time when i changed the filenames i tagged the files with tagscanner before i built overviews, and for some reason serato didnt like that? but i normally do tag all my new songs with taggscanner before building overviews, and i dont have a problem
