Use the inside of the 10:00 vinyl to scroll through crates and tracks.

Just ordered serato - but ive been viewing these forums for a while now. Zach, recently I've noticed how careless your replies are. Ral asked about selecting crates using CDjs:) I believe to do so one uses a specific track# on the cd? Check the manual, Ral - im sure you'll find it.

select crates using CDJs

serato cd got 2 tracks
the vinyl with 10:00 select track, and the select crate, the offset of the record.

i wonder if i can just record control vinyl to cd, so i can just create 3 track cd!????

Thanks for elaborating on my answer. I'm bound to have a mistake once in awhile. Looking at the same screen all day every day can wear on the eyes and mind:)

so did we ever figure out an answer to this issue...im using cdj's also...on track 2 you can scroll through your songs, but not sure how to jump crates...thanks for any help...

Not sure if it is possible with the CD, Ral's idea of recording that part of the vinyl would work.

Then just make a new CD with the track 1 from the CD then maybe track 2 for scrolling tracks and track 3 for changing crates.
