i know this problem already is adressed, but never a solution has come out of it. i have problems with a fluctuating pitch. if i for example put my turbtable pitch at 0%, the program shows a pitch moving between -0.3% and 0.3% which gives me problems mixing my tracks because they don't play at a steady pase.
i've tried changing the setup for many times and nothing seems to work. scope also gives a neat circle so that can't be it!
can someone please help me with this??

this is normal it is caused by the wow and flutter on your decks, combined with off centre holes on the control records.

but why are there people than that don't have this problem? is it my decks (SL1200's) or that it's mac instead of windows?
i get the feeling that mixing goes better and smoother with regular vinyl than using SSL, or is this just something in my head and i just have to get used to it?

I don't think we should get used to it.. we paid 500$ for the SSL system, serato must give us solution to fix this problem, it really masses up mixing sometimes and damages your skills!!!!!

Indeed, it's how it is with my Serato vinyls too. The percentage of pitch is not steady, goes to both (+-)directions 0.2%-0.3% and it hardens the mixing. Also the hole in the vinyl is not tight enough. Will try to use stickers and maybe it will cure a bit.
So it's definitly a problem!
