I've used SSL 1.4 more more then 6 months, never had any problems.
Since I've installed the new version, SSL 1.5, I have some weird noises in some of my tracks. The mp3s worked fine in SSL 1.4 and are ripped and encoded by myself (wavelab, lame). I made a sample of th e noise that came up with some of my mp3s. All my tracks were analyzed again after installing 1.5....

Hmmm...Weird.
Does it only happen with some of your files? Maybe some of them have become corrupt. Do these spikes show up on the waveform?

I have the SAME problem right now. My SSL was working fine for over a year and now it started making noises in the LEFT channel ONLY. When I look at the recording, it looks like this:

Anyone know what's going on?

It looks just as good as the right deck. They both look 100% round and the USB signal is also at 100%. I have extremely high quality RCA cables and the power adapters are away from them.
Like I said, it has worked perfectly fine for over a year, but now this just randomly started happening.
I read somewhere that I should increase my buffer size. My buffer was at 2 but now I put it back in the middle (which is 10). The problem has decreased but it's still there.
Still need help (pretty urgent... got a gig coming this week). Thanks in advance.
