Hi nickreilly.
So you aren't able to scratch the track that is loaded into a deck in ITCH, even when you press the 'scratch' button on your VCI?
You may need to adjust the touch sensivity at the back of the unit to get the response set up correctly. You may need to do this every setup you move the unit to, just to make sure that it's responding to the change.
Warning: be very careful with adjusting the sensitivity controls, these are very fragile. Take your time and adjust slowly and lightly until you get the platters to work for you. The lights should turn from blue to red when touching the platter as a guide.
Hope that helps.

It might be illuminating with the red light, but not quit sending the right information, there's a certain point where the platter will start allowing you to scratch. Gentle though!

which what should i be trying to tune it? ive gone both ways, and all it does is stop the music awkwardly and allow for a very very small scratch....its kind of awful sounding....

Once you have gone to the point where nothing works, then go the other way. It might be pretty small area where it's responsive properly though. Try it out on both platters, see if one is easier than the other, then you will know what to look for.
There's a video being made at the moment for this, but unfortunately it might not be uploaded for the next day or so.

Think it's mostly done, just being tweaked, might even be tomorrow afternoon.

Is there absolutely no change with the platter response at all at any part of the sensitivity control? Put the VCI onto 'Scratch' mode, and then try the sensitivity.

Hey Nick.
Sorry to hear the problems are still happening.
I've just sent a message to Charles at Vestax, so you should get a response and hopefully get this sorted asap.
Thanks for your patience :)
