pitch slide on turntables wont work while using serato

for some reason when im using my serato with my turntables i can seem to use my pitch slider on my turntable..i tried using it but it wont slow down or go faster it just stays the same..but when i the pitch slider on the serato program it works...does anybody have to problem or know how to fix it? NEED HELP ASAP!

You must be in Absolute or Relative mode to use your turntables. If you are seeing the pitch sliders in the program, then you are in Internal mode, and you don't get external vinyl control in Internal mode.

i was in absolute mode and it still wouldnt work..have any idea whats the problem?

Does your timecoded vinyl respond to any movement at all ? What about stoping the tune with the record or scratching ?
+ Are your records and needles clean ?

Hey fstar - do you have pitch reset buttons on your turntables and are these pressed? If so, they'll be resetting your pitch sliders to zero - which won't allow you to make any pitch adjustments. Cheers
