Hi,
This is Sean here. Just got the pioneer DDJ SB & i find the headphones volume too too low. I can't even adjust it . . . its on full . I am currently using Mixvibes Cross Dj with Video 3.0 latest version. Also i just tried it with Serato Dj Intro. Its still the same. Its not the case with my other controller ( Mixvibes VFX Control ) which is super loud. Is there some hardware update or something for the SB on a Mac ?
Kindly advise !
With Regards,
Sean T

Yeah, I checked & its still low. I use the Stanton Dj Pro 2000. Are all headphones soft with Serato Dj Intro latest version. I kinda noticed that headphones gain in the settings of the software is blocked. . . It should actually go upto +6db but its not adjustable.
Thanks,
Sean
Thanks,
Sean

Hey,
Its the hardware that needs some kinda firmware update for mac because the volume is still very soft even with the SB connected to Cross Dj Software. . . Which is not the case with my other controller, which is too loud. So its an hardware update that is required.
Pioneer pls help out asap. I work at a night club every saturday & also private gigs are lined up during week days :)
Thanks N Regards,
Sean

Just as a little pointer your best bet to get Pioneer's attention would probably be on their site. forums.pioneerdj.com Just out of curiosity do you use your DDJ-SB at a nightclub?

Have you tried headphones with an impedance that will match your SB? Just because you tried an alternate pair of headphones does not mean the impedance changed. You can find out on the package usually and it is measured in Ohms. Furthermore not ALWAYS but typically the higher level headphones will have a better match.

What i use is one of the best for Mids N Highs . I have pretty much had every headphone on the market. This is an issue only Pioneer can sought out with an update.
Cheers :)

Absolutely. They are aware of this and it will be addressed in a future firmware update. This is not the first controller to have this issue either but I was suggesting a temporary workaround as you can fudge things a little in your favor in the meantime.

Hey VDj Sean T,
deejdave is correct, you should contact Pioneer support regarding this as it sounds like a hardware problem. Their forum is here - forums.pioneerdj.com
