So i just got a set of Vestex from my friend & i needed to buy audio rca cables but i also need to get ground wires so i can connect it to my mixer, however may of the places i've checked haven't had any, so i'm assuming i'm going to have to create my own ground wire from scratch i know i need the forked tongs on each end but can anyone recommend a type of wire that would do the trick?

Anything should work. Any type of electrical wire from radioshack - you just dont want it to be too thick or hard to mold/handle.

Try Radio Shack, that's where I got my replacement ground wire. Try 20-gauge black wire and Heat-Shrinkable Spade Terminals (U connector). The good thing about Vestax TT's is that the ground wire is really easy to replace. I always keep 2 extra wires cut and ready to use in my gig bag just in case.
