I am having alot of performance issues with my Serato on Vista. The music keeps dropping out on the right side. I was just wondering if anybody else is experiencing the same thing?? Does anyone know of any solutions to make scratch live run better on Vista without the dropouts? Or does anyone know if there will be an update by Serato to remedy the stabiliy of Scracth live on Vista?

I have a brand new laptop with 3 gb of memory and turion dual core processor, the program uses about 1/3 of that. SO i know it's not a memory issue.

Any input from anyone is welcome.

Thanks

Try looking at this article, it could help: scratchlive.net

Also, the Turion processors are not really the best to use with SSL, this might also be causing an issue.

Make sure to have bluetooth, Wireless, anti-virus and anyother programs running in the background off when using SSL.

So are you saying that even if I switch back to XP it might not fix it anyway? Do you know any users that were able to resolve this with the turion processor?

Actually I don't want to totally say that because I did exchange the original interface I bought with a new one. After a re-install of the software it did work about 10xs better, but it's still not totally there yet. In other words I won't be taking it too the club like this.

As for the turion proccessors some people have tried: going into devices and drivers and disabling "the AMD USB Filter Driver". There have been reports of this working for some - you can try it and see if it helps you.

I checked the devices and drivers and ran search for the "AMD USB Filter Driver "and I do not have that installed on my laptop. I also read the article above and none of that made a difference.

Is there anything else you can suggest? I am really running out of options here.

You can try installing the driver updater onto a different port on your computer. Plug the SL1 into a different port and go to Start/Computer/C:/Program Files/Serato/Driver Updater.exe

If it still doesn't work, try it on all ports on your computer.
