Missing Crates after external backup

I wanted to back up my music to an external harddrive so I copied all of my itunes folder and scratchlive info to the external. I did not want to delete what was on my internal harddrive. All my files are in tact on my external including crates but only my library of songs shows up without my external plugged in. The crates only appear when I connect the external. How can I get my crates to show up even if the external isn't connected?

Hi Koncept 551,

The crates are linked to your music somewhat, so if all your music is on your external drive, it would be best to leave the crates there.

You can organize it so your crates show up when your external is not there, but there will be no music in them really, unless you also have music on your internal drive as well.
Is this what you want to do?
