When pluging Twitch into laptop usb port, touchstrips on twitch illuminate and then go off. Itch then tries to run a firmware update but returns the following message Firmware update error #:-1

I've tried reloading software and connecting twitch into different usb ports but the same occurs.

This has been operating fine for about 2 years and the error only appeared last week.

How do you over come this?

Hi DJ Messy

can you open ITCH 2.2.2. and navigate to the hardware tab of the Setup Screen.
If there is a button "firmware update", try pressing that.

If that does not help either, try another USB cable as the connection may be weak if you use a thin cable, thus could be causing interference.
If that does not help either, your unit may be faulty and need servicing.
