Hey Santanero,
Thanks for getting in touch,
Before I can start the troubleshooting process I need to gather some further information off you.
1. Are you running ITCH or are you running SERATO DJ?
-- You refer to ITCH but your specs state: Serato DJ.
-- Please clarify this.
2. Are you able to send me your FULL computer specs?
-- Rightclick your MY COMPUTER icon and select PROPERTIES.
-- Copy this information back here.
3. Are you using any external hard drives to organise your music?
-- How big is the drive?
-- How much free space is on it?
4. How big is your computer Music Library? (gbs)
Thanks :)

Hey Santanero,
Thanks for that information,
Are you running ITCH or Serato DJ?
Do you only use iTunes to organise your music? or do you add music to your Serato library manually?
Is 36GB your complete music library?
Thanks.

I only use iTunes to organize my music from there when i open itch program all my iTunes folders appear and i choose songs from files I've organized. yes 36GB is all the music i have now.
i bought my NS6 on eBay and i downloaded the current itch that appears on the serato website. I'm not too familiar with other itch programs that are advertise so i downloaded the most recent. i believe it 2.2itch

Hey Santanero,
Thanks for that information,
I think the issues you are experiencing are due to your computer specs.
I noticed you are running a dual core 2.2Ghz processor and also only 3GBs of ram.
When running ITCH on Windows 7 64bit you need at least 4GB of available RAM space and a 2.4ghz processor.
ITCH minimum requirements can be found here --> serato.com
Your computer specs will still run the program, but it wont be as smooth as a computer above spec. You will also have to limit the size of your library.
Firstly, I recommend you go through our Windows Optimization Guide --> serato.com
Please follow these steps,
1. Launch ITCH with your controller disconnected.
2. Click the SETUP button.
3. Navigate along to the LIBRARY tab.
4. Turn OFF "show iTunes library"
5. Close the SETUP window.
6. Close ITCH.
7. Navigate to your C: drive "MUSIC" Folder.
8. Inside this folder you will see a " _SERATO_ " folder.
-- Rename this folder "_SERATO_old"
9. Create a folder on your desktop. Name it TEST.
10. Open iTunes.
11. Drag around 100x or so music files into this TEST folder on your desktop.
12. Close iTunes.
13. Launch ITCH with your controller connected.
-- You will notice the library is empty, and iTunes should NOT load up.
14. Click the FILES button.
15. Navigate to the TEST folder on your desktop.
16. Drag the folder into your ITCH crate window. (left-hand side of the screen).
-- A crate will get made and all those music files will load into your Serato library.
Have a mix. Can you use the effects correctly now? Do you have an issues?
Please let me know how you get on :)
Thanks.
