Im a big fan of Serato Itch and all, but gettin very tired about its lack of connectivity.... Will there ever be timecode available for Itch or will i have to move to Traktor (Don't like Scratch Live).... CDJ's are the indusrty standard and if i cant connect ITCH with them, then I have no use for Serato.... Help..??

Hi,

Serato ITCH is only available for use with ITCH controllers. Its designed to be a digital DJ'ing solution without the need for Turntables and CDJ's. At this stage we have no plans to implement a control CD or vinyl for use with ITCH.

I can see from your comments above that Scratch Live isn't for you, but I thought I would mention that you can use Scratch Live hardware with CDJ's, here is a brief explanation of how you can do it: serato.com

As a sidenote, also letting you know that Serato DJ is now available for use with the DDJ-S1.

Let me know if this helps!

Cheers, Sam

Serato DJ can only be used with a supported MIDI controller, at the moment we have no plans to make control CD or vinyl for use with Serato DJ software.

If you do want to use control CD's with the CDJ 2000's and be able to access your Serato library Scratch Live would be your best bet.

Hope this answers your question,

Sam
