What is the Vestax VFX-1?

The Vestax VFX-1 is an effects controller unit designed to compliment the Vestax VCI-300 and Serato ITCH.

The Vestax VFX-1 has a powerful range of effects that are hosted within the supplied version of Serato ITCH DJ software. This is the very first product that will activate Serato DJ FX, simply by connecting the VFX-1 via USB.

The range of DJ FX that can be selected have been specifically sculptured with live performance DJs in mind. Tempo based DJ FX like the Delay and modulation effects can be clocked from the prebuilt BPM of the track, or you can manually tap the tempo to achieve different effect timing.

It's very simple to select your desired effect with the rotary Effect dial. The Beats knob then lets you quickly select the desired time division. A large silver Depth knob is assigned to give precise control over parameter 1 of each effect. A clever Mod knob lets you quickly access parameter 2. Pushing down the Mod knob gives advanced access to parameter 3.

The Vestax VFX-1 is styled to match the popular Vestax VCI-300 but will also work with other ITCH DJ controllers. Connecting the VCI-300 and VFX-1 together will activate the effect unit of Serato ITCH - no special installation is required. However, you must be running the latest version of Serato ITCH.
