256 of video ram i am assuming? yes that will work fine, if it is regular system ram (which i doubt) then no, you should use at least 1gb. Give us all the specs and more detail and we can tell ya what to do

A good spec is yours with 2gb of system memory, the nvidia 256mb is good enough for video memory

yeah, thats more than enough, the macbook will run nice and smooth. Keep in mind that there are rumors of possible macbook upgrades and/or speedbumps this month, they are loooong overdue, possible oct 14th in the whole laptop line
