Serato. we seriously need an encoder. Drop any video file in, choose from one of three settings, out pops batches of VSL ready encodes.

isn't there already a dozen video encoders out there that work fine with vsl? most are free too.

Yeah they all use FFMPEG project coders. Its basically a command line .exe so anyone can make one in almost any developement tool. think thats probably what nik39's been wanting to do. If I had the time I could bang one out in a few days as a flex or C++ project. Just wouldn't be worth my time or nik's unless someone was to put up the green for it.

Working on it.

Problem is: Someone has to pay the daily bills - that's me. So I can only code in my very limited spare time. :-(

if you've been using visual hub without any problems, then just continue to use it. you just won't get any updates. as ikutz said, all visual hub is is a gui of ffmpeg and there are a lot of other apps you can use that use ffmpeg.
