The pitch lights are the wrong way round, when the pitch control goes up the down light comes on.

HUGE improvement for such an "old" DJ controller. Way to breathe some serious new life into this unit, Serato!

This is a joke, it keeps crashing. I finally figured out what's causing it. If you have more than 20 000 files in serato dj it crashes. I have the same problem with serato itch (more than 25 000). man wtf is going with this software. you think after so many years these guys would figure this out. Now i have to go and break down my music files again. Takes so dam long and irritating.

I have never had Serato Crash...interesting to see if your right because I load a huge library!

It's ok...some functions not working or controlling like ITCH does.

Go to Setup options and select 'Playback keys use Shift'

The funny part is the software when on manual mode (not connected to a controller) plays songs but the timer doesn't roll... it just displays the total length of song.

I wish Serato DJ was like Scratch Live...

I just applied the DDJ-S1 v110 firmware update to be compatible with Serato DJ and at the end of the process, there was an error.
Now, my DDJ-S1 is dead! I can't try again to update and it doens't turn on!!! :-(

JUST GOT MY NEW DDJ-S1 , AND IM LEARNING THE NEW EQUIPMENT , GOOD SO FAR , AND GETTING BETTER WITH IT

I tried to reinstall, but the DDJ-S1 isn't recognized.

ONE OF THE CONNECTIONS IS NOT WORKING , WHEN YOU DOWNLOAD THEM THE DRIVERS SHOULD HAVE DOWNLOAD WITH IT , TRY TO CHECH THE DRIVERS , IF IT AINT THE DRIVERS , THAN CONTACT SERATO DIRECTLY ..

Which connections? USB? The USB ports at my Mac is working.
I don't know about the USB at DDJ-S1 cause it's like dead, none of the leds light up.

IF NONE OF THE LIGHTS TURNS ON WHEN YOU HOOK UP TO THE MAC AND WTH THE PROGRAM , THE MIXER/ CONTROLLER NEEDS TO CHECKED OUT

o que aconteceu que os dois leds do loop não acendem mais, a controladora fica toda apagada, e a sensibilidade dos jogs, não parecem com as das cdjs.

Oi Marcio, olha acho que vc tá com problemas no Firmware, tente instalar o mais recente, caso você tenha feito o Upgrate para o Serato dj. Não custa tentar. Abraço

serato dj is not working with my ddi s1, my ddi s1 has been updated to latest firmware.
is it because of my new mac book pro A1520 retina?

my macbook is not detecting the pioneer ddj s1, i connected the midi controller to another laptop with serato dj and it worked fine, now why isn't it working with my laptop, I'm running on IOS X mavericks, its not even working with itch either

GO TO PIONNER.COM AND DOWNLOAD THE PIONEER DDJ S1 UPDATE FIRM WARE FOR YOUR CONTROLLER , YOUR CONTROLLER HAS TO BE CONECTED TO YOUR LAPTOP AND ON ....

THATS WHAT I DID WHEN IT HAPPEN TO ME ....
