vsl doesnt start/stuck on serial screen/no video window??

ok,im using 1.8.2 and 1 and vsl 1.2 and when i press the demo button it doesnt switch to the plugin window and the video window never pops up,just stays on the serial screen....also the set video track buttons come up and i can load a video,but no vid screen or no plugin screen...updated quicktime,reinstalled plugin and still the same result...

Hi,
This is an issue we have had sporadic reports about and finally managed to replicate yesterday. It seems the installers for 1.8.2 changed so they don't put something where it used to be. Downloading 1.8.1 and running the installer (you don't need to run the version itself) will add these files. You can then go back to running 1.8.2 without problems...

We are working on fixing the installers now,
