I just bought a MacBook pro ( OS X 10.5.5) to get started with Serato Video SL ,I ve been using a MacBook for the last few years with no issues at all ,Now, whenever I try to use it with a TTM 57 I get the "Device Startup Failed" message or the whole thing just crashes and I have to do a hard restart of the whole machine. . I have read every forum I could find about this. I have tried turning on the mixer / launching the program / plugging in the mixer all in different orders multiple times. I have tried a bunch of different usb cables. . Nothing. I even plugged in my Serato box to my home tower and was able to get everything to work no problem.The only reason i moved to Macbook pro was to use the Video SL with 57 ,I'm frustrated ,can anyone help me ? thanks in advance.
