Alright just got the ttm 57 and im tryin to video set up I havent bought the pluggin yet cause im not sure if machines can handle it and I have a few questions
1 What formats will work is it only mp4s? my jymixs dont seem to be working
2 what are some of the specs people are runnin vsl with
My Laptop is a 1.72 duo/1 Gig of ram/with on board video I think(Im guessing this bitch that runs sl so well will not fair so well with videos)
And if it comes down to it ill lug my pc around if itll work like audio does on my laptop its a 2.4 quad/2 gigs of ram/and a radeon x1650 grafics card
Now my question is will either of these work or am I in for a computer upgrade to after I just spent all that money on the ttm and i really really dont wanna spend the money an a mac book pro
3 what is the best program to convert your files to mp4 if they all have to be like that

Your quad should work if you up your ram. The laptop is way under spec. There are debates on what is the best encoding program. I like mediacoder but some people are having trouble getting it working. But honestly you should prepare yourself for buying a new computer and if you do, you'll be happier with a $2000 MBP than with any pc you buy.

The laptop is perfect with one more gig of ran(itchie is right) program that convert videos are really cheap, try out what works for you. i like magic video and sony vegas 8 for improving audio and editing etc..., as far as the other computer, u really want at least 3 gigsr am core2duo or better @ 2ghz
