is there any info on Building Overviews for Video?

I thought I build the overviews and everything was good, till i was playing with the video and when I loaded a video VSL Crashed 1.0.2_(10217)_Mac..

I tried to do the relaunch but it just kept asking me to relaunch the video program..

please help

BTW, using macbook pro w/4 gigs of ram
external usb harddrive WD passport

well instead of posting the same thing that has already been posting i was just looking to see if there is any information that is already posted about this problem of me building overviews on videos yet when i load a video it causes VSL to crash..
