Stanton's new SC Deck :: Compatibility with SSL/TTM-57?

Hello family, here's a few questions and things I have been thinking lately regarding a TTM-57 I picked up.
1 • I am really liking this deck from Stanton ( www.enterthesystem.com ). I hope Pio jumps on the bandwagon with these soon.
I don't see these being supported by SSL yet, I wondered if there will be any support coming soon. They will be great midi controllers and a great replacement for standard CD players/Turntables (maybe not 1200's).
2 • I also want to know if you can control the FX on the TTM-57 through midi by using other midi controllers, or is this level of control dedicated only to the TTM-57 hardware interface?
3 • I love the TTM-57 as a mixer but the control interface for FX and such is too crowded. Too many functions on very little space = potential performance mistakes and embarrasing situations due to the multiple features of each button. The size of the buttons also seems a bit small and too close together which can lead to mistakes too (I am sure practice will help a lot though).
Is there a way to compile all my TTM-57 button/knob assignments into a file I can export/import and maybe share with other users?
That would be ideal if its not already a posibility.
Thanks in advance for any ideas/help you can provide me with!

Update: I guess Pio did somewhat of an attempt with their CDJ-400? The new MIDI player? But still the large platter on the SC takes the cake. I hope Pio puts out a flagship media/MIDI unit.
Anyways...
The answer for my question number 2 is apparently "NO". That sucks. I would like to know why not? I have the TTM-57! I guess is probably a feature in development?
I still need help with #1 and #2 please!

1) There's been no mention for support of Stanton's SCS1. If there is, it won't be anytime soon.
2) Big no.
3) There's no xml file or anything associated with the TTM-57 like there is with regular MIDI controllers. So no, there's no settings file to import/export or change or share.

1. Itch is some kind of SC system, I doubt Stanton + Serato will team up.
2. Yep, that sucks. Seems like the TTM57 progress has halted.
3. Sure, all the settings are stored inside the registry on Windows and insdie a plist file on Mac OSX. It is quite easy to find the TTM57 registry settings. HKCU/Software/Serato/ScratchLIVE1.0

1. Yeah, itch is as close as it gets. I just don't like the mixers that come with the controllers. And the platter on the SC is sick.
2. I certainly hope TTM-57 development progress is not halted!!! I just bought it and this is what we see in the manual:
Future Proof
The features and functionality of your mixer will improve with each new release of the Scratch LIVE software
3. Oh man, that's cool but I am somewhat leery of messing with the registry. What would they do that anyway though? I have two laptops, I would love to be able to copy settings from one to the other!
Thank you Nik/Konix!

You can simply export the registry settings to a file, double click on that file on the other computer and it will import the registry settings. Really, as simple as that :)

Hmmm... ok. That doesn't sound too bad.
Have you actually done this successfully before? :)

Really? I did not know that. Color me red then.
Where is this plist file stored on Macs? I don't see it.

That Stanton system is neat, but, there isn't any FireWire ports on the 57, so I can't see how you're envisioning using the two together.
I dunno. Every one of these new slightly miniaturized DJing systems that come out every week seem a little goofy to me. It's like going to great lengths to create a "DJing Simulator." You have the real thing, don't you? What's the appeal of these petite + fake turntables? The rotary encoders and built-in drumpads are neato. But it's still a little goofy to me.

Like this thing:
www.stantondj.com
Imagine going to see DJ Z-Trip, and instead of bothering to set-up turntables, he's up on stage playing with that thing. It's just all becomes a novelty and less interesting somehow.

I see this being more of addition to my setup when I can't use my 57. I'll still mix using tech's or CDJ's but this thing will work to trigger cues and loops.

Yeah, I am not talking about that, that is a stupid toy that I don't care for. Starting from the fact that I think this whole "touch technology" BS is way over rated and just a FAD for now. Touch is great when implemented in the right form, not like we see today (everything wants to be "touch").

I hear you. Turntables/CDJ's are fine by me as of today. Up until now there is no MIDI controller with a platter size comparable to a turntable, that gives you so much capability right at your fingertips.
That's the difference with this SC unit. It can be programmed every which way, good visual feedback, backlit, lightweight, no media needed to make it work, no need to touch the keyboard and no need to spend on a special mixer...
That sets it aside for me.
A lot of people said the same thing about vinyl emulation systems not long ago, and look at where we are now... :)

These mini controllers are ideal for quick on the go DJing. Playing a house party in a pinch. For $200 I would grab 2 to play with and have on hand. Throw a mini controller in a bag and go. That's about all I would use them for. Any serious playing still warrants a full setup.

I disagree... and I am a hardcore 1200 user. There is no "on the go" for me, I take every gig seriously.
The SC system from Stanton is not THAT "mini".
It is actually kinda large compared to the ITCH systems, etc, and not much different than a CDJ-800/1000 combo. If the system actually functions as its touted ("real time" scratching with good tactile feedback like a CDJ, but using MIDI) then it would be a hit for most jocks that use SSL, etc.
