efx buttons.

i think i wore one of mine out. they look replacable. where can i get em?

If the EFX switches aren't working properly, they probably need a little cleaning.

We suggest using Caigs DeoxIT D5 cleaner -->> store.caig.com
Simply give the button a couple squirts, press it a bunch of times and everything should be back to normal.

can radio shack tuner control spray be used? this stuff dies wonders for faders.

I asked the service/repair techs here and they say to stay away from the tuner control spay. In their own words, "it's garbage" :)

wow.... lol. i been using the stuff for like 10 years. every dj that has ever touched my fader says "how did you get it so smooth?" tuner control spray.

is there anything i can buy at a store and not online? i dj out everynight and i'd like to get it working asap. thanks for all your help.

So this fix should also work with the B1-B6 buttons, right?

Anyone know where i can get some of that Craigs DetoxIT in Auckland NZ. My B1 and one of my kill switch bottons are a bit "hit and hope".

thats the buttons i'm talking about. my B1 is hard to press on.

I personally don't have any experience with the tuner control stuff. It probably does work well for lubing, but for unadulterated cleaning, the Caig D5 stuff is king :)
