to be honest, the intro not matching the audio... i.e. puff rapping when lil jon is saying 'take this to another level' is a bit distracting. same issue with the begining of the lloyd video. i'd say chop the video a little more in the beginning and your all good.

yep. sometimes i timestretch the video to make a clip longer... or reverse it to play it backwards then forwards. you can eat up alot of time that way...

Keep working on your overall skill set, I would suggest staying away from timestretching......what program are you using?

imusing sony vegas pro 8 at the moment, I was recommended to try final cut pro, but sony vegas pro works great.

Culprit, make sure the lips are syncing with the lyrics...get buck in here the video is a bit faster than the lyrics (his lips move around a half second before the lyrics are heard), but the other two vids are pretty solid in regards to the lip syncing

Ummm, i think their edits are pretty dope. King, Freebird and smashvidz does the best edits on their. Betatesterz does dope work as well. I try to look at it from a "client" or "clubber" point of perspective. When it comes to working with club owners, they defenitly love it since most of the club owners are about having something compeltly different from other clubs. With the little edit's i do, I know how much work is really put into those type of video edits.

DJ Blaze, i think for us its completly different because we are constantly looking for the best stuff that would fit in our club, and you see it soo much, you get desensitized, but to people who dont do this on a normal basis, they are amazed that this is even possible (music video mixing, video mashups, even basic visuals).

I actually try not to use super duper hyped up screaming at the crowd remixes with my video remixes I do... I do mainly house, good remixes & very few mashups.

Agreed. In all honesty I try to keep it to a two break minimum in a four hour period of mixing, one break every two hours. Though there is some nights I dont even use breaks.

Out of 4 editors, only one of them edits on Crooklyn, looks like someone's been getting their Crooklyn ish from somewhere other than Crooklyn.

Yepp, just found it odd how you made reference to CC being dope, then mentioned your fav 4 editors on "there", only 1 of which actually actively edits for them.

Marx's edits were cross posted on Smash, but "smash" isn't an active editor on the site, freebird hasn't been on there for ages, and I don't think beta testerz have ever been on there, the only one is King who is an active editor.
