I don't know why I've never rased this before in 2 years, but why oh why oh why are the channel faders on the 57 (and the 56 before it) set up as they are - ie, normal curve, then you put full cut on and the cut is down at the bottom of the fader, rather than at the top (like 99% of other mixers). You can hamster the fader, but then you have the cut at the top, but with all the way to the top being silence.

I would like my mixer at least 25% more if I could set it so that it was a sharp cut with silence nearly all the way up and then full volume when the fader is at the top - much easier for how I scratch, I literally never use the channel faders for scratching apart from fades while I do various tears or rubs whatever. Is it possible to get a firmware update to make this a reality, or are we constrained by the hardware?

Other than that I love it btw.
