Help me if you bought your TTM 57L in the states and live in europe / i am in Ireland and can save a good bit of money by buying in the states i have read that it has a voltage converter built into it, has it? If so what do i need, just a new plug i DO NOT WANT TO BURN OUT MY NEW MIXER! when i get it. Or should i just buy it over here less hassle if any problems warranty etc? Sorry if already answered i checked did not find much. Advice would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Just take care of the custom charges in your country, it can happens!
I already read that in France TTM57 buyed in the USA were not taking under warranty. So basicly if you have a problem you will have to send the mixer back in USA.

from the uk and got mine from the US.
all you need is the correct plug for your country, (i.e. the type used for PC power connection)
the warranty will be upheld in the US like Ongaku said so you will probablly need to send it back there if you have any issues...

Thanks guys appreciate that i probably will buy it in the states because the euro is so strong against the dollar at the moment on ebay i can get it new for about 1300 dollars maybe even cheaper including shipping thats about 840 euro.
In most U.K. and Europe stores it varies from 1000 to 1299 euro cheapest with delivery so i am going to do a bit of ebay bidding today and see what i can get maybe a bargain.
Also my buddy is buying my old scratch live box 300 euro sweeeeet.

One more time take care of the custom autorities, if they are doing there job well they will intercept the package and charge you with a percentage corresponding to the VAT of your country.
It happened for me for some second hand denon cd players and was really angry that I waited so long to pay a price so close with the german market price (I live in Germany for the moment).
I think the controls occurs more often right now because of this strong Euro value.
There is some tricks anyway :-) for example try to have a "gift" mention on the post package (to negociate with the dealer) and no paper bill on the package!
This practice is somehow illegal but works fine.
Anyway controls are not systematic may be I was unlucky last time, but now I think twice before buying anything from the USA.
It also happened for a friend buying records in USA!

Not sure how it works in Ireland but declaring an item as a gift in the UK does not mean you can import it duty free unless the value of the item is very low.

I never said it was a legal way! But from my experience as well as friends experiences it seems that when packages have the "gift" mention they are delivered without taxes. Might be that this is not the only reason (price, size of package?)
