I agree with this suggestion as well...forgot to mention it myself!!

being able to change the color of labels for multiple tracks at once would be alot more helpful in organizing our music so we dont have to load each track just to change the color

This is definatley something for a right click menu, although it should also be available when clicking the label colour in the track listing.

By the way you can alreay sort by label colour.

I think a better use of the label colors would be by Session(Gig) There should be a "start" and "end" sessions in which it would automatically color every song played in that session to your desired "gig color". Followed by the ability to sort that session. Poof!! instant playlist.

Color should defenitely be one of the choices for sorting.

And being able to make mass changes of label colors also are important. I was planning on using them as a rating tool while a rating function comes into play in SSL. But I could not select bulk numbers of files.

I am a Mac users, and very happy to have a function in the Finder (to Windows users: similar to Windows Explorer) called Labels. It can define colors for your folders, to help you organize them.

Besides organizing tracks in crates, to have tracks lists in colors would be great.

Also, include some functions in a contextual (right-click) menu would make SSL´s use much easier.

you can order by label colour... and if you do that, then use 'shift' to select the list you can now see visually.. bam - you have selected the whole block of that colour.

if you right click the white dots which are by the tracks, and you can pick a colour.

once youv set some colours, click the column header area above the dots, and scratchlive will sort them by the colour dot you chose.

FYI, since 1.7 colors and bulk color adjustments have been a feature of Serato, so my post above is outdated. You can now do all kinds of funky stuff with your color tags... :)
