Mixtrack pro to powered speakers

Hi how do I hook up powered speakers to my mixtrack pro. The mixtrack pro has two outputs but only one "works". How do I set it up?

I think I know what to do, connect one RCA(white) to one speaker the other RCA(red) to the other, is this right?

The two RCAs labeled as output 1 are the main outs that you connect to your speakers. The other ones output the same as your headphone jack.

O ok thanks for the info. Do you know if it would work with just one output to the powered speakers?

I have my mixtrack plugged out into powered monitors. But when i choose mixtrack as the sound output for the mac (for when im using itunes or whatever) there is no way of controlling the volume. Is there any way to do this?
