Faders ever tighten up?

My boy bought his 57 last year and he said that for a while now his fader has been real stiff to where he has to push it to crossfade. Volumes have same prob. So he brought it by and being the Turntablist's that we are, we hooked it up by first cleaning the faders and lubed them w/ cal- lube.returned to normal but the next day he said it got a lil stiff not as bad as before. Im wondering if this is a 2 day cleaning process cuz my guys 56 had the same problem and i recall it being a 2 day process. This ever happen to you?

You may want to consider adjusting the springs too.

yeah when my faders need a good lubing (no jergens) I usually will do it a couple times over several days. What sixxx said will also help.

this only happens to me when i store my mixer in a cool place like i left it in the trunk of a car before or in a porch that wasnt heated that was the only few times this happen to me but once i cleaned it it was good to go back to the way i got it
